They're a quality club and we wish them the best of luck this season."

Nelly Palaga is Chief Operating Officer and Head Coach of Palm Beach Flames SC. Born in Puerto Rico but raised in Philadelphia (Pa.), Palaga earned a Doctorate in Business from Temple University and has been a driving force for youth soccer in South Florida for more than 17 years.

Obviously, we like this challenge. We like the regional format. We like the level of talent and these players, and giving them an opportunity to showcase their talent.  We're expecting this season to be a much better, much smoother season."

Palaga concurrently serves as Girls Varsity Head Coach at West Palm Beach (Fla.)'s Oxbridge Academy, and has had an ever expanding role with the youth club Palm Beach GPS the last four years.

Christian Landaverde returns for his second season as the team's captain. The top scorer and Team MVP at Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) High School in 2016 and 2017, Landaverde most recently played for Fort Lauderdale (Fla.)'s Keiser University (NCAA).
