UPSL Vice President Christian Vallejos said, "We are excited to welcome Oceanway FC to the Florida Division. The Jacksonville market is one we want to engage with every day and Oceanway FC is perfectly placed to be player there for a long time to come. We wish them success and look forward to seeing them on the field in 2021."

"I believe that Oway FC and the UPSL have a common bond. We both believe in the integration of the community to serve a larger cause. The major factor that makes the UPSL appealing is that the league attacts players from the NCAA Division I university level all the way to the grass roots. It's a league that has something for everyone," Gurung said.
